Dr Neil Stott explains the role of community enterprise in sustainability in recently co-authored book chapter

The book chapter is co-authored by Lucy Cavendish Fellow Dr Neil Stott and is titled ‘Partnerships and place: the role of community enterprise in cross-sector work for sustainability.’

It is part of the Handbook on the Business of Sustainability, a ground-breaking publication by Edward Elgar Publishing that focuses on the business of sustainability, offering a fresh insight and practical solutions to the challenges that businesses face in making human activity sustainable.

Dr Stott comments: Our chapter argues that place-based community enterprises are critical to successful cross-sector partnerships when addressing inequality and sustainability. We draw on our research in the UK and Newfoundland, Canada to detail what is involved in place-based cross-sector work and the challenges practitioners face.
