Anne McLaughlin is currently the Digital Services Manager at Trinity College Library, as well as a Postgraduate Tutor and the Director of Studies for Anglo-Saxon, Norse, & Celtic. She recently held positions as a senior research fellow at the National Gallery and as a project manager for the Royal Society before returning to Cambridge where she had previously served as Sub-Librarian of the Parker Library. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, she received her MSt. In Medieval Studies from the University of Oxford and a PhD from the Warburg Institute in London. Her current research interests include the use and utility of digital representations of medieval manuscripts, intersections of text and image, patterns of readership, the reception of the early medieval in the renaissance, and the encyclopaedic tradition.
