Devin is the Vicar of St Bene’t’s, Cambridge — the oldest church in this city (and county), as well as a Church of England Parish and a member of the Inclusive Church Network. Devin also serves as the Interfaith Advisor for the Diocese of Ely, and is a member of Interfaith Connections Cambridge. He studied Folklore at Harvard University, and took a Masters of Divinity at Episcopal Divinity School. He has previously served as Acting Dean of Chapel at Pembroke College, Associate Vicar at the University Church, Cambridge, and Assistant Chaplain at Jesus College — as well as at churches and cathedrals in the US. Born in Chicago, Devin lives in Cambridge with his wife, two teenage children, and a pair of unreasonably floofy cats.
Devin’s Bye-Fellowship is especially concerned with supporting students and staff looking to integrate their spiritual/religious identity with their academic and collegiate life, and to celebrate and deepen the diversity of the Lucy Cavendish community through multifaith events and celebrations.
