Last weekend, over fifty graduates returned to Lucy for our second Alumni Festival Brunch.
On Saturday 27 September 2025, Lucy Cavendish College welcomed alumni back to Cambridge for its second Alumni Festival Brunch. Fifty graduates, with matriculation years from 1967 to 2025 and from a wide range of disciplines, returned to reconnect with the College.
The morning began with a drinks reception that brought familiar faces together and sparked new introductions. Guests then heard updates from College President Professor Dame Madeleine Atkins and Alumni Association President Amelia Jabry. They shared recent college news and raised a toast to Professor Dame Madeleine as she prepares to hand over to President elect Girish Menon. Conversation continued over a beautifully served brunch in Warburton Hall.
It was wonderful to welcome so many alumni back. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the occasion warm and welcoming. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

The table settings and seating arrangements were perfect and ensured that everyone could chat easily to others on their table. The tables looked so pretty with the flowery runners and little vases of flowers.
We really appreciate the amount of thought and effort that goes into such an event, both in the organisation and in the kitchen.
Thank you for such a lovely morning. It was my first event at Lucy and I was nervous to attend alone. I had a lovely time and will definitely be back.
