Lucy Cavendish College mission is to unlock the potential of exceptional students from non-traditional and underrepresented backgrounds from around the world, and this is not possible without offering a range of Scholarships, Prizes and Awards.
Lucy Cavendish provides life-changing financial support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students from low-income backgrounds.

Scholarships - £1.75m endowment gift.

Academic Prizes - £200k endowment gift, to reward those undergraduate finalists who are in the top 10% and those Masters students who achieve distinction.

Travel, Research and Conferences Award - £1m endowment gift, to support travel and registration costs for students who have been selected to present research-related papers at conferences or to extend fieldwork that is particularly promising academically.
Lucy Cavendish offers awards to students so that they can participate fully in activities beyond their course. These activities can include joining sports teams or music groups, the Student Union, or one of the many clubs and societies offered by the University.
We know from experience that those who optimise their extra-curricular activities at Cambridge go on to perform better academically too.
