The College welcomes Dr Cristian Granados as Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr Cristian Granados is Research Associate at the Cambridge Judge Business School. He's Professor and Researcher at EGADE Business School in Mexico City and National Researcher at the Mexican Science Council. His research interests are corporate innovation, grand-challenge-oriented entrepreneurs, and innovation in emerging economies and difficult conditions (frugal innovation).

In this blog, he tells us why he decided to come to Lucy Cavendish College.

"A postdoc is an excellent opportunity to extend academic networks and conduct international and impactful research with prominent scholars. I decided to do so because I wanted to try myself in a competitive research environment such as Cambridge. But also, to refine my research skills and look for promising scientific ideas that can be put into practice back in my country.

I think that what brought me here was both my motivation to build up my research skills and my passion to search for solutions and frameworks to solve specific issues in my fields (innovation and entrepreneurship). I really believe that well-being, poverty, global challenges, and other issues can be solved by more inclusive entrepreneurship and more robust and innovative solutions.

Lucy has a very welcoming and friendly community. Being in contact with other postdocs, fellows, and students, allows me to learn from a different perspective. My experience in Cambridge couldn’t be completed without the academic and social support of Lucy Cavendish College."
