The competition provides a platform for aspiring lawyers to hone their courtroom abilities.

Undergraduate law students showcased their legal skills at the Annual Lucy Cavendish College Moot Court Competition on February 10th. The event was judged by the esteemed Mr. Justice Soole, a sitting judge of the High Court of England and Wales.

The problem question engaged criminal law, making the arguments more accessible to not only law students, but also other observers. The proceedings saw an impressive and talented line-up of speakers. The finalists were all first-year law students. The winning team consisted of Harjas Singh and Evie Martin, and the runners up, who also won the prize for the best skeleton submissions, were Benjamin Madden and Caleb Lee.
