Response to mass lecture media story

In response to the media story, please be reassured that it is only the mass lecture part of your course (and not all courses have mass lectures) that will now be pre-recorded and live-streamed for you to watch online at your convenience, enabling maximum flexibility in how you study. Other forms of teaching, including small-scale lectures, small group teaching, classes, meetings, seminars, practicals, lab sessions and college supervisions are not affected by this announcement and where possible are being planned to be held with social distancing measures in place to protect students and staff appropriately. The University intends to make a further announcement towards the end of June.
